Father's Day Treats

Now, I by no means feel as though I got a crafty gene. It's too bad, some days it'd probably be a lot of fun. However, this Father's Day the RS presidency were asked to do something for all the dads at church. We tossed around a fair amount of ideas, and this is what we settled on... rice krispie pops! Pops... get it? yea, I knew you were smart! I had a good time making them, so here you go a couple of pictures. They had their option of regular or fruity pebble flavored. We also gave everyone root beer floats.

It was cute, 2 of us went to deliver the treats to the boys. By the time we left, they were all as giddy as a bunch of excited girls. I'm sure they were told they needed to calm down and be quiet. Boys + sugar = happy fellas.

H & I were talking about their excitement on the way home. He was trying to say how it was different from girls. I didn't buy it. I'll give him an A for effort. My dad will be getting his requested burger off the grill tonight. He seems content. I love my dad. He's the best!
